Our Leadership

The Centre is led by two Co-Directors who bring together world-class cardiology and pharmacology expertise.

Prof Aaron Sverdlov

Co-Director

A cardiologist and clinician-researcher leading the Centre’s translational cardio-oncology programme, bridging bedside care and laboratory discovery to protect patients’ hearts during cancer treatment.

Prof Doan Ngo

Co-Director

A pharmacologist and research leader driving the Centre’s discovery science, with a focus on the mechanisms of cardiovascular injury and the development of cardioprotective strategies.
